About this Position

We are urgently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logging Operator to support our operational, geophysical surveying, and data acquisition activities in Namibia. The successful candidate will work closely with the managers and contribute across all field operations, including deviation surveys, gamma ray spectrometer (GRS), optical televiewer (OPTV), gyro, density, magnetic susceptibility, and other geophysical logging services.

This role is based in Swakopmund and will involve both field and office-based work.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the managers with day-to-day operational activities

  • Manage and maintain logging equipment, and Admin-related tasks

  • Provide on-site and remote field support during operations

  • Participate in relevant technical, operational, and HSEC training

  • Conduct and support all logging operations

  • Quality-control (QC), and manage field data

  • Ensure work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and safety standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years field experience in geophysical logging

  • Good problem-solving, technical and mechanical aptitude and computer skills

  • Must be prepared to work in field conditions – 80% field based

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team and alone

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Good health and sober habits

  • Must be based in Swakopmund, or willing to relocate

  • Namibian resident
